Quantum computing

Quantum computing is an emerging field of computing that leverages the principles of quantum mechanics to process information in fundamentally different ways from classical computers. Unlike classical computers, which use bits as the smallest unit of data (representing 0 or 1), quantum computers use quantum bits, or qubits, which can represent and store information as 0, 1, or both simultaneously, thanks to the phenomenon known as superposition.
